The brick

Ancient briton garden bar

"Its hot here in the bar tonight - flames lick the old fireplace,
The liquor sets my blood alight within my heart and face.
There's a woman smiling at me and my world is quite content,
Life's a mixture - there's atonement after all for times mis-spent"
from 'Life's a Mixture' by Blue Jeans

The Hotel affectionately known as the Top Pub earned the nickname "The Brick" as it was one of the few buildings in the area built in part from red brick.
