With friendly hosts, the Ancient Briton has a range of rooms to suit your needs. With on-site accommodation for up to 35 people, the Ancient Briton is ideally suited to those looking for an authentic historic experience, from two external Studio Units, to the main Lodge adjacent to Main Hotel Building. All set in a private garden area with the Garden Bar and Hotel a few steps away. The Garden Bar is an ideal setting for Spring, Summer and Autumn weddings, family celebrations or just a delicious meal with your drink.
The Ancient Briton specialises in wedding and engagement functions and caters for medium-sized events. The restaurant and bar caters for up to 80 guests with breakfast, lunch and dinner menus.
Dinner, Bed and Breakfast packages and group rates are available for group activities or weddings and functions. Curling and accommodation packages are available upon enquiry.
Transport can be arranged to local destinations. Central location to all amenities, shop, restaurants, sporting activities and sightseeing.

Studio Unit (Sleeps - 2)
The first Studio Unit has a double bed and sleeps two. There is an ensuite bathroom with complimentary tea and coffee-making facilities. It has a small deck overlooking the garden with parking beside it. Warm and cosy, all beds have electric blankets. Smokefree. Unit serviced daily, toiletries complimentary.
Studio Unit (Sleeps - 4)
The second Studio Unit has a double bed and single bed with ensuite bathroom. There is a separate living area with a kitchen and complimentary tea and coffee-making facilities. The living area has one single bed. The unit sleeps four people. A small private deck has a garden outlook with parking beside it. Warm and cosy, all beds have electric blankets. Smokefree. Unit serviced daily, toiletries complimentary.
Ensuite rooms x 12 (Sleep up to 3)
The main Lodge comprises a varied choice of 12 ensuite rooms, which can cater for up to 3 persons per room. There is also one option of connecting rooms to cater for a family of up to 5 persons. The Lodge rooms are all heated, with electric blankets on all beds, so will provide you with a comfortable night's accommodation. Sunny deck with a garden area and picnic tables for those warm days. All rooms have free toiletries and complimentary tea and coffee-making facilities. A share toilet and bathroom are available in the Lodge. Rooms serviced daily. Smokefree. Parking on site.
